This is about how just a little work makes quite a difference. This is a little silver cardigan I bought for 3 € at a second hand store. I love it, but it was clear to me when I bought it that it needed a new button. the old one was just boring grey plastic. not at all my kind of stuff! so I kept looking for a nice fitting button and finally found it at the Creativa fair, last march, in Dortmund, Germany. As a nice coincidence, I was wearing the cardigan that very day and when I found a shop selling great unusual buttons of natural materials, I could easily find the perfect one: silvery grey mother of pearl with a carved rhombus like shape, just like the pattern of the knitted cardigan.
Today I finally found the time to change the buttons and now I absolutely love my cardigan; it looks great, don't you think?!
As I am a person who, on the one hand, always recognises the tiniest details in any picture and, on the other, someone who is just unable not to alter details on my clothes I don't like, this little change is important to me and makes me happy. Mission accomplished! the next one, please! :)
Diesmal geht's darum, dass eine kleine Änderung einen großen Unterschied machen kann. Diese silberne Strickjacke hab ich mir mal für 3€ in nem second hand-Laden gekauft. mir war sofort klar, dass sie einen neuen Knopf bräuchte, denn der alte war einfach nur aus grauem Plastik und damit so gar nicht mein Fall... Den passenden fand ich dann auf der Creativa Messe in Dortmund im letzten März. Zufällig trug ich an dem Tag die Jacke und so konnte ich an einem Stand, an dem es wundervolle Knöpfe aus Naturmaterialien gab, den.perfekten Knopf auswählen: silbriges Pegnitz mit eingravierter Rhomben-Form, passend zum Muster der Strickjacke.
Heute bin ich endlich dazu gekommen die Knöpfe zu tauschen und jetzt liebe ich diese Jacke. Sieht toll aus, meint ihr nicht auch?!
Da ich zum einen jemand bin, dem stets die kleinsten Details an einem Bild auffallen und ich zum anderen Details die mir nicht gefallen unmöglich so lassen kann wie sie sind, war mir das wichtig und macht mich happy und zufrieden. Auftrag ausgeführt, der nächste bitte! :)
