Aus Hose wird Rock - how trousers become a skirt

Hi!

I recently enjoyed two of my favorite hobbies: second hand shipping and sewing. those gorgeous silvery grey Jeans caught my eyes at once. and although even the smallest seemed too large for my skinnyness, I had to take them home for only 3 euro. at home, as I tried them on, it became instantly clear that a few stitches an cuts would not suffice. plan B: a skirt. the working process really is simple enough. Just cut off the legs right beneath the crotch, then cut along the inner seam, thus getting two identical parts big enough even for a long skirt. add a fitting grey zipper and it's done: trousers became a new skirt! :)
at the same shopping tour, I bought a nice though slightly too big baby doll top of green crepe fabric. it became a skirt, too, at the same evening. two simple steps were all it took: cut off the arms, then sew the open parts together, creating the new upper gem of the skirt. done. Price for both skirts: a little less than 5 euro - and I had a lot of fun!!! :)
